But the face of the pageant, Carwyn Holland, has denied that he was the source of the reports and this campaign to paint Miss Cameron as the “badFrustrating! So any tardiness has to be blamed on the committee and not Miss Cameron.The committee should have ensured that Miss World was informed as soon as Miss Cameron was crowned queen, and hence this blame on a delay in receiving the Miss World “sponsorship letter” would not have even surfaced.But the problems with Miss Cameron seemed to have stemmed from what anyone would consider a sane decision on her part. She was asked to sign a contract after winning the local leg of the pageant. Like any right-thinking reasonable person would do, she and her team perused the contract and found clauses they were not happy about.It was this insistence that the contract be adjusted that supposedly sparked the angst of the committee against her and she has been treated way less than a national beauty queen should be treated.Up to the point of Miss Cameron applying for her visa, however late that might have been, a wardrobe to Miss World was ready for Miss Cameron.But the committee has sought to suggest that $1 million in clothes was not acquired for Miss Cameron before she left Guyana.
