Even if you're not a sports fan, your hockey fan or a Canucks enthusiast, it's hard to not get caught up in the rush and excitement of the Stanley Cup run. It is often 17 years in the generating and history is now again at Vancouver's doorstep.
The last time Vancouver made it to sport's greatest tournament series, Bill Ramsden was the mayor of Nelson, Mike Harcourt appeared to be running the show in Victoria and Jean Chretien was the recently elected prime minister in Ottawa in which the Liberals would hold power pertaining to 13 years. And for the males now hoping to be crowned champions of the greatest league around professional hockey, it's been an ambition since they were little kids dreaming about to be the next Mike Bossy or Fred Gretzky. To hoist that beautiful prize over their heads along with know they have accomplished a unique feat.
